Pair - Vintage - Cast Iron Perched Owl Andirons with Original Amber Eyes
Wonderful pair of cast iron owl andirons with orange/amber eyes. Purchased at a local estate, the pair were missing the supports/legs. Made to hold firewood, the new artfully fabricated supports/legs are ready for many more seasons of burning. Designed and fabricated by master sculptor of Raindrops in Virginia, Gordansville, VA, these whimsical owls are now complete and good to go for another 300 years!! The owls have their undamaged original Halloween orange/amber glass eyes that glow by the light of a fire. They stand approximately 14-1/4" in height and each coming in at a hefty 13 pounds including the legs/supports). They owls have been rust abated and freshly painted.
